Question #1 finding worldviews in a writing

When looking for a worldview in the text it is important to understand background information about the author. By knowing about the author it will make understanding the worldview of the text easier to identify. Also you must read the writing in context, so that you may understand what the "big picture" of the writing is about. It may be helpful to the reader if they have an understanding of different worldviews, so that they know what to look for. When looking for worldviews in writings it is very important that the reader starts the piece with an open mind as to what worldview the writing may be about. By doings this it will make identifying the worldviews a lot easier because the reader does not already have a set opinion on the piece.
